Hong Chau Mechanical Company specializes in manufacturing custom-made heated mixing tanks.
Industrial heated tanks are fabricated from stainless steel, with a polished 2B stainless steel surface and smooth welds for hygiene. For food-grade tanks, they meet food safety standards.
Heating tanks, also known as cooking tanks, are constructed from three layers of stainless steel for cooking materials. They are widely used in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and adhesive industries, among others. They offer superior features such as adjustable cooking times, material dispensing via a bottom drain valve, and a sealed or semi-circular lid depending on customer requirements.

Heating Methods for Heating Vessels
Direct Heating Method
Direct heating involves placing the solution to be heated directly in contact with the heating element by immersing the element in the solution or by allowing the solution to melt through the heating element.
Advantages of direct heating: 100% efficiency of the heat source is optimized because the power of the heat source is directly absorbed by the solution, resulting in faster heating, eliminating delays, and reducing heat loss through intermediate layers.
Indirect Heating Method
Indirect heating uses a heating medium such as water or oil to transfer heat to the solution. The heating temperature depends on the boiling point of the heating medium.
Advantages of indirect heating: It ensures better hygiene for the product solution, especially for products such as food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals, where processes are even more stringent; maintenance and repair are also easier. Easy cleaning after use is also a plus for this method.
Another advantage of indirect heating is that surface heat loss is reduced. Gradual heating is suitable for viscous solutions, preventing burning and odors during production.
Indirect heating also provides ample space for the agitator within the tank, allowing for unrestricted stirring. Adding an agitator allows for stirring to reach all areas inside.
Heating Sources
Currently, two main heating sources are used in industry:
Electric resistance heating: heats the heating medium such as water, oil, etc.
Steam heating: hot steam is supplied from a boiler or centralized steam generator to the tanks requiring heating.

Applications of Heating Tanks
Hot water heating tanks can be used as storage tanks, heating tanks, and mixing tanks for the production of various food products, nut milks, fruit juices, and beverages.
Industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biotechnology, and any industry involving heating and mixing all utilize heating tanks.
